The Pay on account payment method allows buyers onboarded via Digital Trade Account to place multiple orders during a billing period. Instead of paying each invoice separately, buyers receive a single, aggregated Billing Statement at the end of the period, summarizing all open invoices. This streamlined approach simplifies reconciliation and payment management for both buyers and your platform.

The buyer can pay the Billing Statement via bank transfer or SEPA Direct Debit 14 days after it was generated.

Payment Flow

Statement Generation: At the end of each billing period, Mondu generates and sends a billing statement to the buyer, listing all unpaid invoices.
Payment Options: Buyers can settle the billing statement via bank transfer or SEPA Direct Debit. Payment is due 14 days after the statement is generated.
Payment Method Selection: Buyers select their preferred payment method during onboarding through the Digital Trade Account.

Order Creation: Capture and submit new orders.
Order Confirmation: Acknowledge and confirm orders.
Webhook Integration: Listen for status updates and events from Mondu.
Pending Order State Handling: Manage orders awaiting approval or further action.
Invoice Submission: Generate and submit invoices for confirmed orders.
Credit Note Handling: Process refunds or adjustments via credit notes.
Order Adjustments: Support updates to orders post-creation.
