JTL Shop 5 - Installation guide

Introduction

Mondu plugin for JTL 5 makes it possible for merchants to offer a Mondu BNPL (Buy now, pay later) service to B2B customers.

The Mondu BNPL will be offered at checkout as an additional payment method.

Customers can use the convenient 30-day delayed payment option, while the merchant will be paid shortly after shipment of the goods or provision of the services.

In this process, Mondu takes the full credit risk and will also handle dunning and payment reminders.

Mondu / JTL Status Mapping

Starting with plugin version 3.0.3, these are the status mappings between the Mondu Plugin and JTL 5:

Mondu Status	JTL Order Status	Comment
Pending	in Bearbeitung	Order is in manual review at Mondu
Confirmed	Bezahlt	Order is confirmed by Mondu
Declined	Storniert	Order is declined by Mondu

Pending orders will not be synced to the JTL WaWi until they are confirmed by Mondu.

Installation guidelines

System requirements

The plugin requires JTL 5 and PHP version 7.4 or 8.0. Please make sure you have these requirements met before the installation.

Mondu’s API Key

To properly configure the plugin after installation, you will require an API key provided by Mondu. If you do not have one, please contact us by clicking here.

Mondu’s plugin for JTL implements the following features

Create Order

Installation

Get the .zip from your Integration Manager
Navigate to the JTL Shop administration dashboard
Navigate to the Plug-in manager from the sidebar
Choose Upload tab and upload the downloaded plugin file
Navigate to the Available tab and install the Mondu Payments plugin

Configuration

Navigate to the JTL Shop administration dashboard
Expand Installed plug-ins menu item on the left side and choose Mondu Payment
Configure the fields:
API Sandbox Mode: Select yes to point the plugin to the sandbox environment
Fill in API Secret
Fill in Webhooks Secret

Configure JTL Shop

Navigate to the Shipments --> Shipping Methods
Select desired Shipping method and click on edit icon
Enable Mondu Payment in the ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS section

Mondu logs

The Mondu Logs can be found on the server in the folder plugins/MonduPayment/Logs
